Arlington Community Federal Credit Union partners with TQC to support our recruiting and hiring needs. TQC is a talent acquisition firm with more than 25 years of experience helping companies and other credit unions hire remarkable staff. Our 10+ Year Annual Luncheon is a special event where we honor the contributions of our most dedicated employees. These team members have been an important part of Arlington Community FCU’s journey and have played a remarkable role in furthering the legacy of empowering our members’ financial lives.
Each year in December, we host our annual Holiday Appreciation Party at New District Brewery in South Arlington, where we relax, have fun and spend time together. It’s a chance for everyone to mingle and interact with each other, as well as with executives and members of the senior leadership team. With catered food, a professional DJ, a gift exchange and an ugly sweater contest, it’s a fun and exciting way to end the year.
Our annual Core Value Awards ceremony is held at our headquarters and gives our team the opportunity to cast their vote for the individuals who have demonstrated each of our core values in action. As an extra show of recognition, we also award the team member who has the most volunteered hours throughout the year and raffle prizes are drawn throughout to show our appreciation for a job well done!
Our emerging leaders have the opportunity each year to apply for the Leadership Center for Excellence’s Young Professionals Program. This eight- month development program brings together young professionals throughout the community who are committed to growing their career, forging new connections, and learning about their community. Selected employees focus on leadership development and participate in engaging activities within the community and in group sessions. By the end of the program, each graduate has redefined their sense of purpose and developed a long-lasting network of fellow future leaders.
The Leadership Center for Excellence Leadership Summit is a transformative, local leadership event for employees who are interested in learning more about inclusive leadership. This engaging forum allows employees to connect with a range of regional experts, receive tangible takeaways that help them improve their leadership practice and advance their organization. It’s an exciting opportunity for employees to get out of their comfort zone and connect with other professionals.
